     Jason Clinton proved to be very versatile as he made the transition from the 2 Man Cruiser division to win the Pure Stock Special Friday night at the Fayette Co. Speedway.  Travis Johnson of Alpha and Jimmy Broszeit from Frankville finished 2nd and 3rd as they battled a 24 car field in the Pure Stock division.
     Cam Granger from West Union took his second feature win of the year as he edged Darrin Burco from Independence who finished second, and Dale Stolte from Springville who took 3rd place in the Late Model class.
     The Modified class had Darin Duffy from Hazelton taking home first place, while Chuck Stanton of New Hampton finished second and Scott Hagen took third.
     Tony Trower tuned up for the RacePartsStore.com Shootout by winning in the Stock Car division.  West Union native Daryl Moss finished 2nd just beating Norman Chesmore at the finish line.
     Making a late season charge in the point standings was Murry Keatley of Waukon as he held off Russell Einck from Calmar for the checkered flag.  Steve Dwyer of LaCrosse finished 3rd.
     The Hobby Stock drivers tuned up for the Double Feature night as Brian Irvine from Oelwein finished 1st.  Aaron Kleppe continued his steady top 5 performances by finishing 2nd.  Tory Reicks from Lawler rounded out the field as he finished 3rd.
     Friday July 5th is Kids' Night at Fayette County Speedway.  Children 11 and under will receive prizes to be given away throughout the evening.  Make Friday night racing a part of your holiday weekend with the family.
