For the third week in a row the weather cooperated and brought over 100 cars back to Fayette County Speedway for the Miller Lite Modified 30.  Dan Bohr of Decorah took the $750 1st place check home along with the 1st Place trophy as he held off Todd Ihde of Decorah and Kevin Pittman from Waterloo who finished 2nd and 3rd.
Late Model points leader Dave Thorsten of Decorah held on to the lead for the 1st place finish, followed by Darin Burco and Brian Hunter both from Independence.
The crowd was happy to see Scott Lips of Prairie du Chien and Murry Keatley from Waukon return to Fayette County Speedway for the first time this season.  They did not disappoint the crowd finishing 1st and 3rd, with Scott Spilde of Ridgeway taking the 2nd place trophy home.  Nathan Cahoon had tough luck for the second week in a row rolling his race car, but was able to walk away unhurt.
Jimmy Broszeit from Postville took the checkered flag in the Pure Stock division, followed closely by Shawn Erickson of Cresco and Jeff Johnson of Alpha.
Aaron Kleppe of Cedar Rapids lead the way in the Hobby Stock division, and was challenged by Darrin Walch and Tory Reicks of Waucoma for the top 3 spots.  These 3 drivers are also in a 3 way tie for points this season.
The 2 Man Cruiser division was won by Travis Flack and Jason Clinton from Communia, edging out points leaders Jeremy Steger and Bill Meyer from Edgewood.  Third place was awarded to Eric Verthein and Nick Hermiston from Waukon.
Virgil Johnson from Waukon took the first place trophy home in the Stock Car division followed closely by Tom Schmitt of Independence and Scott Bauer from Riceville.
Next week's Coca Cola Thunder Truck 20 brings the trucks to Fayette County Speedway for the first time this season.
